Having the opportunities to create his own solo work, Will has found an interest in mixing and editing music.
He has created his own music for his solo butoh performances including WalkUpArts' "Night of Fear" events & Howl Happening's "Queer Butoh" performances.
Will Atkins is an NYC based performer and a 2015 graduate of Hofstra University’s Drama Performance program. Will was awarded high honors for his senior thesis paper exploring the paradoxical and transformative elements in Butoh. Since graduating Will has performed in "Queer Butoh" hosted by Vangeline Theater, Katsura Kan’s “Senryu x Butoh” show, Ideal Glass’s “Vestiphobia” event, and created Butoh pieces for WalkUpArts fundraisers.
